In DeKalb County, prices for pure agricultural land peaked last summer, corrected in the late fall and have held steady since then, said Jeff Waddell, one of the owners of DeKalb farm management firm Martin, Goodrich & Waddell. Local sales in the last three months have averaged between $7,500 and $10,500 per acre, he said.
